Wow, what an amazing spot to relax and enjoy nature. It may be a small beach, but it's even better than the larger ones. The beach is situated in a low-lying area with beautiful white sand and a rocky cliff on the side. When viewed from a higher vantage point, the beach and the ocean fit perfectly within the frame. Additionally, there are parks, fountains, and rocky cliffs in the surrounding high grasslands, making it a diverse and enjoyable place to explore. I read that it's a great spot to watch the sunset, but I went in the morning and the sunrise was absolutely spectacular. Trust me, waking up early is worth it. It's also a fantastic place for nature photography, swimming, snorkeling, jogging, and of course, relaxing. It's particularly great for a romantic date as well. However, keep in mind that since it's such a beautiful place, it can get crowded during the midday and finding a parking spot might be a challenge. I went at 5 in the morning, so I didn't have any issues. It's unfortunate that we're not allowed to walk on the grasslands, where we could have enjoyed a great view of the beach and the sunrise. Usually, the grassland is reserved for golfing. I've been there a few times and they play golf early in the morning. There are signs along the pathway stating "NO PEDESTRIANS" on the grassland side, so we can only walk straight to the beach.

The breeze from the cliff top is absolutely delightful, and the view today is truly enchanting. People are enjoying paddle boarding, scuba diving, and swimming in this peaceful location. The various shades of blue in the water are absolutely stunning, and the sound of the ocean from my spot on the grassy area above is incredibly soothing to the soul.

Wonderful stroll along the beach with charming coffee shops. At the far end, you can even drive onto the beach.

The beach is absolutely stunning with its classic curved shoreline and rock pools. It must get really crowded in the summer, but when we visited in early spring, it was peaceful and quiet. The only downside is that there is limited parking available, with only a few street spots and parking in the town center.

Yarra Bay Beach features a backdrop that could easily inspire a Jeffrey Smart painting. Once you move past the notion that beach beauty is solely tied to untouched nature, you'll find it to be a truly spectacular spot for a swim. On one side, you have green-tinged calm waters gently lapping against golden sand, while on the other, you see planes, cranes, and container ships. This beach is inclusive, welcoming everyone from pouty Kardashian-inspired babes flaunting their curves in tiny bikinis to families, couples, and individuals of all ages and body types. Dogs appear to be welcome, and the atmosphere is friendly, even including the occasional boater with an imported American vessel who grumbles about government interference and wishes you luck "washing the radiation off." Parking is convenient, with a series of free four-hour car parks in the Yarra Bay Bicentennial Park, connected by several pathways leading down to the beach.

This beach, located just 30 minutes away from the Sutherland Shire, is absolutely stunning. It offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for swimming, picnicking, or taking a leisurely stroll. Additionally, it is a great place for families with children, as it provides convenient toilet facilities and is kid-friendly.
