The beach offers a fantastic view of the sleeping giant and is a perfect spot for relaxation. The water tends to be on the colder side throughout the year, which is why it falls short of a five-star rating. However, it is a lovely place to escape from the hustle and bustle. Located just 25 minutes from the city center, it is easily accessible. There are typically two lifeguards on duty and ample parking space available.
The boat launch is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. It's one of my top spots in Marathon, Ontario.
This is my favorite spot in the area for swimming, bonfires, sunsets, and stargazing at night. On a clear night, you can enjoy a beautiful view of star clusters and the galaxy. It also offers a lovely view of the sunset.
I adore the distinctive reddish hue of the sand on the beach. The views of Lake Superior are stunning, complemented by a generously sized pier and a playground. There's also plenty of parking available.
This was the first stop of my month-long journey up North with my two dogs. This place is incredibly nice and beautiful. A large portion of the park features waterfront spots, and I was fortunate to secure one. The staff here are amazing! There are plenty of activities in the area, such as fishing, hiking, and enjoying the scenery.
