The beach is made up of beautiful stones and the water is crystal clear. To get there, you just need to follow the path from the parking spot, hop over the barrier, and walk down the rocky path. It's important to wear shoes as the rocks can be sharp and slippery on the way back up. When we arrived, the main beach was a bit crowded, but we found a solution by holding our bags above our heads and walking through the water to the next cove along. This beach is perfect for snorkeling, as there are many caves and ledges along the coast.
Excellent! Small pebble beach! Almost no people, place is visited mostly by locals. Parking is possible on the road, spots for about 4 cars.
The beach can be accessed via a very long and steep path. We usually park our car near the Church. It's only possible to go down to the beach with a 4x4 car like a Suzuki Jimny. The beach itself is a mix of pebbles and sand, with gravel and stones at the water's edge. The water is fantastic, but it quickly becomes 2 meters deep. There are plenty of fish, and you can even go snorkeling. Just be aware that there is ongoing renovation work at the entrance of the path. Also, please note that this is a nudist beach.
We stumbled upon this charming beach and were pleasantly surprised by its beauty. It was a convenient choice for a day trip as we didn't want to venture too far. Fortunately, we were delighted with our decision. The beach was practically deserted, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. Although the sand may not be everyone's cup of tea since it's almost black, we didn't find it bothersome.
This beach was great! It may not be the most picturesque in Kefalonia, but it was very tranquil even in the peak of August. There were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to take a break from the sun. The water was warm and crystal clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. 💕
