This is a fantastic spot for a family beach holiday. The site is divided into two separate fields, and we stayed in the second one. The small toilet block is impeccably maintained, with one shower each in the gents, ladies, and family rooms, but we never had any issues using them. The electric showers allow you to adjust the temperature, unlike most club sites, and you don't have to keep pressing a timer button. The staff are great and very helpful, though there was some inconsistency with the "boundaries." We were asked to move our windbreak a day after setting it up because it slightly crossed the boundary, yet our neighbors had a large dog cage well over the boundary that was ignored. While I understand that rules are rules, a consistent approach is necessary to avoid a negative customer experience overshadowing all the other positives the site offers.
Stunning location. We only caught a glimpse of a dolphin's fin, which gives us a great reason to return. Collected some beautiful seaglass. Our dog absolutely loved the beach.
This beach is absolutely stunning. Even during busy times, you can always find a quiet little spot. It's very clean, and the cafe is lovely! I've gone swimming here, and it's also a fantastic place for paddle boarding. Plus, Inverness airport is just a short distance away, so you can watch planes landing and taking off without hearing any noise. I absolutely love this spot!
Not the most scenic beach area because of the large structures near the shore, but it is conveniently located next to the village and is a lovely spot to enjoy a refreshing ice cream on a warm day. Additionally, there is a memorial with clearances nearby.
This sandy beach, located just a short 15-minute drive east of Inverness, is a wonderful spot for a leisurely stroll along the water's edge. It's common to spot dolphins feeding and playing in the area.
