We visited this location with friends on April 23, drawn by its beautiful setting. We chose a table by the sea and requested an umbrella for shade. While umbrellas were provided for two other tables, we were told that ours couldn't have one because there was no umbrella hole. We specifically came for a seaside breakfast and declined to sit indoors, but were informed there was no alternative. Since our breakfast was already served, we didn't want to move to another table. Consequently, we had our meal under the sun in 29-degree weather. After finishing, an employee asked if we could move to another table to accommodate new guests. Initially, we declined, and the staff member politely cleared our table. Eventually, we did switch tables and requested the menu, which took 15-20 minutes to arrive. This place has potential, but due to the service issues, I wouldn't choose to come back.
The restaurant located here is the absolute worst. The service is terrible, the portions are incredibly small, and the fish is ridiculously expensive. They don't even announce the prices, so we ended up paying 100tl for just one fish and 30tl for calamari. I've never written a negative review before, but I strongly advise against going there. It's just bad in every aspect.
We were advised by the locals to check out this beach and we were not disappointed. The facilities were top-notch, the shoreline was clean, and it felt very safe for children. The service was good and polite, and the food was enjoyable. There were plenty of shaded areas, which was especially helpful during the hot month of July. In comparison, if you were to visit a similar beach in the south of France, you would have to pay 15 euros just for a sun bed without an umbrella. However, here, the three of us spent £40 for the entire day, including food, drinks, and other amenities. I have a different opinion from those who left negative reviews. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxed, and clean place with great music, especially after 6pm. I would definitely consider visiting again.
Yolluca; I was thrilled to read the positive comments. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared such kind words, as well as to all my colleagues, both senior and junior, who were the first to break ground at Yolluca Social Facilities. They planted trees, leveled the coast, cleared rocks from the sea, and worked tirelessly for many years. Greetings to all! It feels like just yesterday that the area you now enjoy was brought to life through the efforts of the Lodging Staff (Uzada Naval Command). I pay my respects to (Retd.) Colonel Temel KÖSEOĞLU, who chose the tree species resistant to sand and sea water and wielded the first shovel. We are truly fortunate, and I extend my sincere thanks to those who have kept our spirits high. To those who occasionally find fault, your perspective is understandable. However, providing service in a small area in Izmir is incredibly challenging. There were many days when we couldn't even accommodate our own guests. It has become common for Lodging Residents to be unable to enjoy the sea. I hope the current issue with phone availability is only temporary. Nevertheless, I encourage you to enjoy your time and appreciate the beauty of the sea and the services offered, acknowledging the years of renovations and the immense effort that has gone into it. With love... Note: The facility should not be viewed as a camp but rather evaluated as a Social (Local) Facility. 🏖⚓️⛱️
