The room is clean and new. I stayed in an oceanfront unit. The reduced breakfast buffet during the off-peak season is decent. The cook is very good, and the food tastes great. However, I wish the hotel wouldn't burn leaves on the beach near the guests. Garden workers should also refrain from smoking when guests are around. All the restaurant service workers are nice and polite. One of them initially did not respect us as Vietnamese guests when we showed up for the 3 pm tea party reception, but he quickly changed his attitude after realizing his mistake. Most rooms at Phu Hai are smoking rooms. It is a very beautiful and quiet resort in November and December, and definitely one of the few places to stay in Mui Ne. However, the resort's WiFi is unreachable in the oceanfront rooms and unreliable.
The beach offers waves of significant size, perfect for those who enjoy surfing. The swells are not too overwhelming, making it an ideal spot for beginners to practice.
This destination is truly a paradise! I highly recommend it, and we will definitely return! The proximity to the beach, cabanas, fantastic pool, poolside bar, and the exquisite variety of food were all exceptional. During our stay, there was some maintenance work on the electricity, causing a few flickers, but it was not a significant inconvenience. The rooms with pleasant air conditioning were spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend this place and eagerly anticipate our next visit! I also highly recommend indulging in the spa services - it's pure bliss! The only downside I must mention is that they strongly encourage you to sign up for their rewards program upon arrival. While it does save you 10%, I prefer not to feel pressured into such decisions. Upon departure, they also push you to write a review, with someone even watching over you as you do so. I felt compelled to edit my review once I returned home to share this experience, but everything I mentioned about the spa and the resort remains true. I simply dislike feeling pressured to participate in activities or sign up for programs at the end. Despite this, I will definitely return as this was an incredible experience!
