This beach park is a delightful destination situated at the intersection of A1A and Shearwater Parkway. Accessing the beach is made easy with a stoplight at the intersection, allowing for effortless entry and exit in all directions. The parking lot provides 20-30 spots, but it can fill up quickly during the day, so it's best to arrive early. Please note that this is not a dog-friendly beach; however, there is one located south by Eau Gallie. The building next to the parking lot has bathrooms, and there is an outdoor shower and foot wash right off the beach walkway. The walkway is relatively short and has a ramp for easy access to the beach. The low and high tide seemed to be about 70-50 feet, respectively, from the boardwalk, making it an ideal spot for surfing or paddleboard surfing. Additionally, this beach park offers a boardwalk that takes you from the parking lot, over the dunes to the south, and comes out on the sidewalk on the East side of A1A. It's a fantastic place to spend a day at the beach. However, it's important to note that in 2017, a woman was assaulted at this park. As a result, the city has purchased and installed cameras that are monitored. Please be cautious and enjoy your time at the beach.
