Bai Hom, situated in Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province, is approximately 35km from Phan Rang-Thap Cham city in the northeast direction and over 1km from the headquarters of Nui Chua National Park.
This place boasts of blue sea water and wild nature, gifted by Mother Nature. The beach is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and its short length adds to the mystery and poetry of the area, hence the name Bai Hom, given by the Phot people, which means Son Ca beach.
Hom beach is part of the tourist arc, which also includes Vinh Hy Bay and Nui Chua National Park. It is also a nesting ground for sea turtles every year, though not as much as Meat beach, which is being strictly preserved. To maintain the tranquillity of the place, Nui Chua National Park has established a Marine Conservation Station and a group of enthusiastic local volunteers.
