After arriving from a delayed flight, we had one of the worst check-in experiences ever. There was no complimentary drink or fresh towel, and we had to carry our own luggage up two flights of stairs to the room.
The rooms were comfortable, but nothing really stood out, especially considering the price. The pool was a nice place to relax, and the staff were relatively helpful.
Breakfast was good, although it was a bit slow and there was no buffet option.
We tried all three restaurants in the hotel. The Japanese restaurant was excellent and comparable to some of the Japanese restaurants we've been to in Dubai. The Creole restaurant was good for fish and local dishes, and the service there was excellent. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar for a sunset drink or a cocktail after dinner. The American girl serving us was very pleasant and made excellent drinks!
Overall, it was a decent 4-star hotel, but we felt it was overpriced compared to our experience at Raffles on Praslin, for example.
