Tusan Bekenu Beach

There's no need to go abroad when we have a great beach right here at home. It's definitely worth a visit. The beach is small and peaceful, with stunning views. There's even a cafeteria on site and the area is very well-maintained. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Although the beach is pleasant, it is evident that the surrounding amenities have not been well-maintained. Additionally, the arch has suffered erosion.

The beach is perched on a mountain top, providing a panoramic view of the South China Sea from a 180-degree angle. Descending the path to the shore, you will be greeted by the salty sea breeze and the gentle waves that caress your feet. Sipping on a refreshing coconut milk while basking in the warm sun is a perfect way to unwind and relax. The sunset view is truly mesmerizing, and it's a sight that you will never forget. Tusan Beach is a must-visit destination for travelers looking for a serene and idyllic escape.

It's a lovely spot, and I witnessed the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. However, the wooden staircase leading to the beach is in disrepair, but there is an alternative route to access the beach from the side.

Despite being a pleasant beach, there is a scarcity of public amenities available. The arch has been eroded and therefore, it is advisable for the local authorities to ensure the upkeep of the beach's accessibility. If this beach can be maintained even without the iconic House arch, it would become a true treasure of Miri. Perhaps some changes can be made in the near future to enhance the experience for beachgoers.
