It's recommended to wear water shoes, and it's safe to leave your belongings on the rocks while you snorkel. Additionally, there's a coral garden located just north of the beach, about 250 meters from shore, with underwater signage in both French and English. It's located about halfway between Vaiava and Mahana.

This is the ultimate beach destination, although it's a shame that the buildings on the left are run-down. Other than that, the upkeep is impeccable. The morning is the ideal time to visit as the afternoons tend to be breezy and the currents can be felt more. There are plenty of activities to enjoy such as petanque and ping pong. All in all, it's a fantastic spot.

I've been living near Mahana Park since 1960 and I've noticed how it has improved over time. The park has been landscaped and well-maintained, with green spaces and a nicely manicured lawn. The toilet block has also been renovated and is well-maintained. The parking lot is spacious and convenient. The beach has white sand and the sea is a lagoon with a maximum depth of 3m, which is protected by a coral reef. However, it's important to be vigilant and cautious when swimming.

Although it may be small, this beach is absolutely stunning, especially when the water is calm and perfect for snorkeling. However, it's important to wear water shoes due to the numerous stones at the bottom of the ocean that could potentially cause injury. For those looking for a bite to eat, Dalia's snack bar is a great option and usually opens after 11am. The menu offers a variety of delicious options such as churrasco with salad or french fries, chicken with the same accompaniments, hamburgers (priced around 15/16 usd), and highly recommended paninis for only 4 usd. Additionally, the bathrooms are clean and there are outdoor showers available for those who want to rinse off after a swim. Overall, this beach is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea.
