If you have any self-respect and are looking for a place to unwind on the sand or enjoy the water, this is definitely not the place to go. As mentioned by other reviewers, the so-called life guards appear to be aggressive individuals with a sense of inferiority, possibly ex-convicts seeking to regain a sense of power by starting unnecessary arguments and fights with beachgoers who are simply minding their own business and trying to relax. Perhaps it would be wise to conduct interviews with actual tourists before launching any promotional campaigns for this beach. My advice is to check the news regarding this kind of service - it seems that unprovoked violence towards beachgoers is unfortunately more common along the southern coast than one would expect.
And to top it off, they have the audacity to promote tourism to this place? Misery certainly loves company.
Personally, I will ensure that my friends and family are fully informed about the extent of the degradation happening here.
Furthermore, in terms of the state of the beach and sea itself, the supposed Blue Label for cleanliness does not align with what we witnessed at all. During a morning walk, we came across a large pile of empty plastic bottles scattered across the sand within a short stretch of beach. This is in addition to all the other plastic debris one must navigate when going for an early morning run. The amount of plastic trash is getting close to what we see in documentaries.
Lastly, I strongly advise against purchasing food from the street behind the beach unless your immune system is as strong as someone who can swim in the Ganges River. I took a bite out of a roasted paprika and immediately spat it out - the insides were completely rotten. I dread to imagine the quality of the meat (although I was not daring enough to find out).
I will be filing an official complaint.
