This destination is fantastic for exploring! My spouse and I parked in the designated area and strolled all the way to the shoreline. It's warm and a bit lengthy, but definitely worth it. We opted not to drive all the way down as we were uncertain if our SUV could handle the sandy terrain. On our return journey, we noticed a vehicle stuck, which is not ideal in the summer heat. Just a heads up, if you plan on driving your SUV down, be sure to take the correct path. Additionally, I should mention that we paid $30 upon entry, although I'm not sure if this is the standard fee.
The view is incredibly serene and stunning! The restrooms are not available during the winter months. The parking area is spacious enough. There is a short hike to reach the beach. The river is exceptionally clean and the beach is well taken care of. There are also fantastic views in the vicinity. If you're in the area, make sure to visit and see for yourself - you'll definitely enjoy it!
