This small beach is truly beautiful, especially on the lovely day I visited. I was walking from Portnockie to Findochty along the Moray Coast when this beach came into view. There's a nice bench further along where you can sit and enjoy the sea views. Like most Scottish beaches, we didn't encounter anyone else as we walked. It's a fantastic spot for the whole family.
This beach is one of the cleanest I've ever encountered, and the waves are amazing on a windy day.
This beach is one of my top spots to take my dogs. The walk is easy and you can make it as short or long as you like. There's nothing quite like a sunny stroll on a gorgeous beach, especially when you can see lots of seals in the bay.
The steep inclines make it challenging for those with limited mobility. Is there an alternative entrance available? My husband and daughter enjoyed exploring the rock pools. Although the beach is petite, it is well-maintained. We observed a few individuals bodyboarding, showcasing some impressive waves.
The beach is just alright, nothing particularly special about it. The water isn't very clean and has a strange odor, so I wouldn't suggest swimming. It's a good place for a quick stop and is very quiet if that's what you're looking for, but there are definitely more interesting places nearby. On the plus side, there's plenty of free parking available.
