Последние отзывы по Hale'iwa's beaches

Waimea Beach

We were overjoyed to stumble upon this hidden gem of a beach. The scenery was breathtakingly gorgeous and the waves were just right for a day of fun in the sun. Unfortunately, our snorkeling adventure didn't yield much success as we only spotted one species of fish. On top of that, the parking situation was less than ideal and we had to rely on luck to secure a spot. But in the end, we were fortunate enough to score a spot just as someone was leaving.

Aweoweo Beach Park

This beach on the North Shore is my absolute favorite. It is situated in Waialua town, which is located between Haleiwa and Mokuleia town. The beach itself stretches out for a long distance and boasts beautiful sandy shores. However, it's important to bring umbrellas because shade is limited. As you enter the water, you may encounter some rocks, but they quickly give way to clear waters. Additionally, the beach park offers amenities such as bathrooms, outdoor showers, and picnic tables. There is even a designated play area for children. Parking is available on the streets, and the neighborhood is peaceful, making us feel safe. During our second visit, we enjoyed a lovely picnic and went snorkeling. If given the opportunity, I would absolutely love to live in Waialua on Oahu.

The beauty of the beach is simply breathtaking, with stunning vistas that are truly mesmerizing. Although it can be a bit windy at times, the experience of witnessing the adorable little creatures that call this place home is worth every gust of wind.

Three Tables Beach

Located on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii, Three Tables Beach is a top snorkeling destination thanks to the protection provided by three large flat rocks. The beach is part of the Püpükea Marine Life Conservation District and boasts live coral and an abundance of fish. Shade-seekers will appreciate the trees lining the beach and parking is available on the street or in a nearby lot. Don't forget to check out Pupukea Grill while you're in the area!

Polo Beach

We opted to escape the commotion of Oahu by renting a car and heading north early in the morning. Our search for a less crowded beach proved futile after visiting Waimea valley, so we stopped for a quick bite at Coffee Gallery in Haleiwa. While scouring Google Maps for nearby beaches, we stumbled upon Polo Beach, named after the Polo Club adjacent to it, where horses can be spotted. Although parking along the roadside was ample, it required a ten-minute walk to reach the beach, which was well worth it. If you're with kids and prefer not to witness any Full Monty, it's best to stay close to the beach entrance. I had no idea what to expect since I hadn't read all the reviews, but I'm pleased that we came here. We settled in a lovely spot near the entrance and spent a few hours soaking up the sun, occasionally spotting sea turtles and numerous little crabs scurrying about. The sand was pristine, except for the active little crabs that ran around at breakneck speed. After jogging half a mile eastward, I encountered a few people in their birthday suits and decided to head back. Everyone was courteous and aware of the boundaries, making it an ideal spot to visit even with children, as long as you stick to the entrance area. All in all, it was an extremely delightful beach on the North Shore of Oahu.

Laniakea Beach

This beach is simply stunning. It's a free beach, so it's hard to find any faults with it. Sure, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it's well worth the effort to get there. We arrived at around 11am and were lucky enough to see turtles starting to emerge. It took a little while for them to come all the way up, but it was truly breathtaking to see them up close and in their natural habitat. The sand can get pretty hot, so make sure you have some flip-flops handy. Just be patient and you'll be rewarded with the sight of these magnificent creatures. The water is crystal clear and if you walk further down the beach, there are plenty of spots to take a refreshing swim. This beach is definitely worth the drive and will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
