We walked about a mile down a slightly intimidating, busy road from Brando to have lunch and a swim at this location. Unfortunately, it was closed! The place looked deserted and out of business. There is a sign up on the road and some small, faded menu signs on the signpost. However, walking down the hill reveals a place that seems to have been shut down for good. No furniture, no equipment, just a locked-up old building. Perhaps it is just closed for the season, as I noticed some recent reviews indicating it was open. It was 80 degrees and sunny, and the season is still ongoing, so... It was September 8, 2022, and we were there at 1 PM.
This is the best beach we've visited on Corsica with our toddler. The beach offers plenty of shade and the water is pleasantly warm. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to families.
The place has a very industrial appearance with lots of rocks. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the city.
This beach is absolutely fantastic - it's so peaceful and the ocean and surrounding scenery are just lovely.
