The inaugural public dog beach in the region, however, fails to capture my admiration. It embodies the archetypal Croatian dog beach - a stretch of coastline with difficult access to water due to jagged rocks that extend for miles before reaching a suitable depth for swimming. It was designated a dog beach because it lacked appeal to humans. The amenities are sparse, with only five flimsy palm umbrellas, a solitary dog beach sign, a parking sign on the nearby gravel, and a poop bin. There are no safety markers to demarcate the swimming area, despite the presence of both currents and water scooters. There is no running water or any other amenities available for either dogs or humans.
This stunning beach has a natural sand landscape and ample space for large crowds to enjoy. However, the journey to reach this paradise can be a bit of a challenge. The narrow and partially damaged roads leading to the beach can be tiring to navigate. Nonetheless, the beach is definitely worth the effort and promises to be a breathtaking experience.
This stunning beach with a pristine expanse of soft sand and crystal-clear waters that beckon you to take a dip. The shallow waters extend far enough for children to frolic and play without a care in the world. Conveniently located nearby is free parking, allowing for easy access to this natural wonder. While the only drawback may be the crowds during peak season, this is a small price to pay for the breathtaking beauty that can be found all across this country.
The crystal-clear waters of this stunning beach are truly breathtaking. Even during the quieter Eastern season, the vast expanse of water is perfect for a refreshing dip, with the added bonus of being able to swim up to 100 meters out. The invigorating mix of cold water and warm sun is a match made in heaven. It's no wonder this beach is fit for royalty - the Queen Beach combo is simply unbeatable.
This beach was an absolute delight! It was our inaugural family trip with our little one-year-old, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect destination. The sand was quite good, and the water was shallow, making it ideal for everyone. Additionally, there was a beach bar with reasonable prices, free access to toilets and showers, and a breathtaking view of the mountains. We also rented four comfortable deck chairs and an umbrella for only 190 Hrk, and parking was available for a mere 3β¬ per day. The whole atmosphere was serene and peaceful, making it an excellent spot for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing day out.
The crystal-clear water at this beach is simply breathtaking. It is conveniently accessible, making it an ideal destination for all. Additionally, there is a charming little bar situated atop the nearby hill, providing a lovely spot to relax and take in the stunning views. Overall, this beach is a true gem.
