The shoreline is quite pleasant, and we noticed a device that was specifically designed to clear the sand of any unwanted debris, seaweed, or litter. However, it appeared that the machine was primarily directed towards the section of the beach directly in front of the life guard tower. The water is crystal clear, and we encountered robust currents and decent waves. Additionally, there were two food trucks that provided refreshments, including alcoholic beverages and beach chair rentals.
This serene beach is a haven of tranquility, with the added bonus of having little to no visitors during weekdays. It's an ideal location for both families and couples seeking a more secluded spot to relish the sun, sand, and surf. As there are no public amenities or merchants, it's best to come prepared with all your beach essentials.
We had an amazing time snorkeling and it was also a fantastic spot to catch the sunset!
The trail to Flamenco Beach begins at the entry booth. Walk along the outside of the parking lot fence until you come across a tsunami zone sign and a gate secured with a chain. Pass through the gate and follow the narrow path for approximately 25 minutes. The incline is not too steep, but be prepared for your bare legs to brush against various plants. The reward for your efforts? The opportunity to observe rays, turtles, fish, and corals. It's truly fantastic. The reef is conveniently located just 20 to 50 feet from the shore, so there's no need to venture further out unless you're searching for turtles and rays in the sea grass. For more information on where to access the reef, refer to other reviews.
This beach is really great and surprisingly tranquil. The coral is well-preserved, but it's clustered together rather than dispersed. I'd highly recommend it for snorkeling, but swimming might be a bit challenging.
We enjoyed this beach as it had a mix of sandy and rocky areas. Since we arrived by boat, I can't really comment on the accessibility by land. The snorkeling experience was quite impressive, I would rate it around 8 out of 10. Despite it being a Friday, there weren't too many other visitors around.
