There's a neat little gym on the beach with old-fashioned weights and machines, but it's a great spot for taking photos and getting in a simple workout.
The beach was truly stunning. Our camping experience was made even better by the soothing sound of the waves that greeted us every morning. However, we were disturbed twice by a policeman who warned us to keep our valuables safe. Unfortunately, the lack of amenities such as showers made our stay a bit challenging. We had to travel to Progreso to freshen up, but even then, we encountered some issues with the public showers. Thankfully, we found a solution by purchasing showers from vendors along the promenade for a reasonable price of 15 peso.
