The beach is truly lovely, boasting unique blackish sand that adds to its charm. During my visit in March 2018, I was delighted to find a plethora of Turritella (or Mesalia?) shells and a few other species, including a Conus. I was thrilled to capture some stunning photos of these beautiful creatures.
We've been to many beaches, but this one was the best, even compared to Tarrafal. The sand is lovely and the beach stretches far. It can get quite windy and you may encounter shells poking your feet, so be sure to wear sandals and find a spot shielded from the wind!
The beach isn't very pleasant, as it's quite small and the waves are quite large. However, if you're looking for a beautiful beach on this island, I highly recommend Tarrafal beach! You won't be disappointed! 😍
