Port Barton Beach

My experience at this particular beach in the Philippines was underwhelming. Although the natural scenery was breathtaking and the sunsets were stunning, that was the only redeeming quality. The accommodations were overpriced and the constant blaring of music, even at the early hours of the morning, was a nuisance. The food was subpar, except for Coco Rico, which was the only establishment that genuinely demonstrated hospitality. The entire village was littered with trash and lacked cleanliness. The locals showed a lack of respect for their own community and were impolite towards us when we sought information on transportation prices. I felt like a mere wallet walking around, and the non-stop party atmosphere was tiresome. It seems as though their aim was to imitate El Nido, but at a lower cost.

Port Barton has received a lot of positive comments! In comparison to El Nido, it has a more relaxed atmosphere and serves as a great place to take a break. Additionally, the beach boasts golden sand, adding to its allure.

This beach is a true hidden treasure! It is simply stunning, with crystal-clear waters that come in varying shades of blue. The beach is impeccably clean and tranquil, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. You'll find a handful of locals offering boat tours, as well as plenty of kayaks for rent. These will take you to other nearby beaches, like Coconut Beach and White Beach, or even to the famous Starfish Island. And when the day is done, be sure to stick around for a breathtaking sunset that you'll never forget.

This cove in San Vicente Palawan, nestled between Puerto Princesa and El Nido, exudes tranquility and a subdued atmosphere. The area is not overly commercialized, which makes for affordable and reasonable prices. If you're seeking a luxurious 5-star experience, this may not be the ideal destination for you. However, if you're a backpacker, you'll find this place to be a haven. There are also more upscale accommodations available, such as Elsa's Beach Resort, which was the first beach resort in the area. Additionally, their restaurant provides a wide range of delectable options at reasonable prices.

The beach at Port Barton has truly blossomed into a must-visit destination. Year after year, it attracts countless vacationers and has become one of the most sought-after spots on Palawan's western coast. The range of activities available in PB is impressive, from diving to island hopping, with an abundance of restaurants and live music performances to enjoy. For those seeking adventure, waterfall hikes and fire dancing are also on the menu. Despite its popularity, Port Barton remains a serene and peaceful place, unlike the hustle and bustle of El Nido.
