Tanjung Buluh Beach

The beach at Sedili boasts of powdery sand and crystal clear waters, making it a top-notch destination for beach lovers. Undoubtedly, it is the best beach in the area. However, it is currently closed to the public, and there is no information available as to when it will be reopened.

The beach at this location is relatively new and boasts crystal clear, deep waters. Unfortunately, during my visit, it was closed due to pandemic restrictions. Nevertheless, I am eager to return during the off-season and experience all that this beautiful spot has to offer.

The beach offers a fully-equipped public area with all the necessary facilities, albeit with limited parking space. It is an ideal location for swimming, and there are plenty of food vendors in close proximity. However, it would be beneficial if the authorities could designate a specific area for camping and barbequing. Currently, visitors are setting up their canopies in the food truck parking area, and some are even laying out and burning barbeques in the landscape. It is recommended that action be taken to address this issue.

I stumbled upon Pantai Tanjung Buluh by chance, as I had never heard of this hidden gem before. During my search for a pristine beach along the Mersing/Desaru coast, I was sorely disappointed with the state of the beaches, littered with trash left behind by careless visitors. However, in October 2020, I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Kota Tinggi and ended up discovering this newly upgraded beach. I was delighted to find a clean and beautiful beach, far away from the crowds of people at Jason Bay Beach Resort, where I had originally planned to stop. However, I fear that if visitors do not take responsibility for their own trash and continue to litter, this beach may soon lose its charm. I implore all visitors to be mindful of their own waste and remind their family and friends to do the same. Let us all work together to preserve the natural beauty of this beach and keep it clean for future generations to enjoy. Remember to always bag your own trash and keep our beaches pristine. A wonderful destination to enjoy with your loved ones, this beach is a secure haven that offers a variety of food trucks and shops selling delectable treats, kites, and clothing. Unfortunately, the restroom facilities are not well-maintained.
