The beach itself is worth a solid four stars, but the facilities are a bit of a letdown with only two stars. We had our hearts set on finding a beach with cushy sunbeds, but alas, we were disappointed.
Getting there was a breeze thanks to the good, easy road that leads straight to the beach. However, we were less thrilled with the steep parking fee of 50 kuna (cash only, but they do accept euros at a conversion rate of 7 euros).
The beach itself is lovely, with white sand and pebbles of medium to small size. The bay is small and picturesque, with crystal-clear water and a stunning view of the mainland mountains.
Unfortunately, the facilities left a lot to be desired. The beds and umbrellas cost a whopping 120 kuna, and the hard plastic beds were devoid of any cushioning. To make matters worse, the two portable toilets (one for men, one for women) were of the dreaded Dixi variety and reeked of unpleasant odors. There was no toilet paper to be found, and no hand-washing stations in sight.
On the bright side, there is a bar located right next to the beach. They serve up fast food favorites like burgers and fries, along with refreshing drinks and lively music.
All in all, this beach is nice enough, but the high cost of the lackluster facilities leaves something to be desired.
